The Nosque Honour System
As part of their culture the Nosque have developed a system of honour amongst themselves.
This involves the wearing of a coloured arm sash to prove their rank.
As a Nosquian proves himself he will gain a higher sash to wear until he becomes a Gold, sash wearing Nosque.
However this honour comes at a price with the White Band of Shame.
Red Band of Blood Oath
Wear a Red Sash armband on left arm.
Title of Ceorl
Worn since the day of the 'Walking Dead' - when Wedge siezed control of the Nosquian nation.
There is a ceremony to make this so which must be done by a Silver or Gold Band Nosquian.
If a Nosquian is ever proved to be dishonourable since that day then that player gives his life to the accused for a year and a day. They become a shamed one, a Villein. See below

White Band of the Shamed Ones
A shamed one, a Villein, must wear a white band and belong totally to the owner who must also wear a white band to prove ownership.
(This last for the current event and half way through the first day of the second event) they are not allowed to attack another 'Free' Nosquian, but otherwise do the bidding of the owner. (Obviously nothing embarrasing OOC is to happen).
There is a ceremony to complete this bonding which must be done by a Silver or Gold Band Nosquian.

Blue Band of Honour
Wear a Blue Sash on left arm.
Title of Armiger
Once a Nosquian proves themselves in combat they are allowed to wear this band of honour.
They must attend a ceremony held by a Silver or Gold Nosque.
This entitles them to a some lands and the right to ask for a favour or ritual from the faction leaders.
Current Blue rank Nosque are:- Ther (Guardian of Dox), Flipflop (Legion Captain)
Silver Band of Might
Wear a silver band on left arm.
Title of Gesith
Two events after gaining Blue rank a player may request to go on a lone quest to prove himself to the Goddess Viestevai.
A small quest where they must beat a mighty monster in combat.
If the player is victorious they gain lands and have the next ritual slot available for the faction in their honour.
A Faction ceremony is held in his honour.
Current Silver Rank Nosque are:- Lan (Scout)
Gold Band of Honour
Wear a Gold band on left arm.
The Nosquian's most highest rank.
Can only be earned after wearing all 4 lower bands (including white).
Then after advancing the Nosquian faction somehow.
Title of Atheling
Given Lands, Ritual access (subject to availability of the Faction)
Act as a Diplomat and can make decrees and laws for the Nosquian people.
Allowed access to talk with the Goddess Viestevai.
A Faction ceremony is held in his honour.
Can choose one other Nosquian to be honoured and be their Shamed One for a year and a day.
